To prepare
I still have to pack. Ugh.
Anyways, I'll be using this to stay in touch with the outside world.
If you want a postcard, email me at malnatia23@gmail.com! I'm making a list, and checking it...twice...

Il quarto parabole
The fourth parable
Chapter 4:
Should be asleep with her at this moment
I put her to sleep tonight
I read her a story
I've done it before, all
(of it)
I've learned to love it
I've learned to love y'all
I have been thinking
I have been thinking about her
I have been thinking about her and Him
I have been thinking about her and Him and me; us
'Been thinking about us
'Been thinking about the three of us
'Been staying up with the two of us
'Been staying up with myself
'Been staying up thinking of you
'Been thinking about us
Think about us

Il journal su nel journaling
The journal of journaling
(Equivalent to the about section of a project, book, etc.)
The process of blogging (or online, public journaling) is a new one to me. After doing this sporadically, I have become aware that I am still slightly unsure why I want to blog. I do know a few reasons why I think it's a good idea.
1. Blogging/ journaling improves one's skill as a writer
This is a claim that I have been told by a few teachers and friends. I don't know if anyone has done a research project or study on testing this hypothesis, but regardless I believe it. A person who is "good" at something often times does whatever they are good at a lot. i.e: A "good" singer sings a lot. There are many reasons for singing a lot.
2. Blogging can make money
This claim is true, but one has to be very good at blogging, or have a large audience. I don't think those last two are the same. Just because people listen doesn't mean that what is being said is worth listening to. There's a lot of shit out there—just listen to the radio and you'll know what I mean. We need a media revolution.
3. Blogging/ journaling is an outlet for creativity
I am finding that blogging for me is a good way for me to be creative. Music is the other main outlet for me. Music and writing are very connected, or at very least I see the connection. Any music that includes singing has lyrics, and lyrics are words that come together to make a message. Personally, I want to be the best person that I can be. Music is one of my favorite hobbies, and there is always room for improvement. One area of improvement for me is making music. I have really only covered music, and not made it—therefore, I want to be better at making music. Although I don't know what I want to study in college, I do know that music is a piece of the college puzzle for me. A few other pieces are Italian, international studies, and journalism/communication. I am intrigued by culture and story telling. Music is a great way to tell or report on a story. I think it would be fun to be an intellectual musician and reporter or story-teller/communicator. Is that by dream occupation? I don't know yet.

Due (2)
Habits.
I want blogging to be a habit.
But why?
- I know that blogging and being a youtube host can be a means of making a living.
- I have so many thoughts, and my mind is racing in different directions, that I think getting them down will be very healthy. AKA: Creative outlet
- I want to say that I have a blog.
- This blog likely won't stay public for long. We'll see. O____o
I had a thought today profession wise:
Maybe I'm wired to be an analyst. PSU Statistics has been the post useful math class for me, and I can see the real world implications. It is another way to express a solution. Self-analysis and being self-critical can be healthy, but also a curse. It's a double edged sword. I have been too self critical for far too long. It's time for that to be over. While watching the voice today, I realized that being self-critical is inversely associated with self-confidence. I am beginning to be confident, and know that the path I am on is one that will do good.
I'm all about making positive differences, no matter how small. Life is too short to be negative.

Prima Pagina
I've begun many journeys lately. I've reached the finish lines in many other journeys. I'm nearing the tape in a few others.
I am currently at a point in life where I am pleased at the progress that I have made, but I know that I'm nowhere near done.
I've started to begin doing the things that I haven't had good excuses not to do. I'm the epitome of high school over-achievers, so time is the scarcest resource of mine as of May 9th, 2013.
